Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), located in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, Chhattisgarh, was established in 2003 by the Government of Chhattisgarh and is named after Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah, the former Chief Justice of India and Vice President of India. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
HNLU Raipur was founded in 2003 and is recognized by the UGC and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It offers flagship programs such as the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), one-year LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law. Admissions are conducted exclusively through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for both UG and PG programs. Eligibility for B.A. LL.B. requires 10+2 with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories), while LL.M. requires an LL.B. degree. The admission process includes CLAT registration, counseling, and seat allotment. Fees are relatively affordable, with the annual tuition fee for B.A. LL.B. around ₹1.8–2 lakhs, making it accessible compared to private law schools.
