Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), established in 2008 and granted deemed-to-be university status in 2020, is a private deemed university located at No. 197/36, 2nd Main Road, Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, with a constituent unit at Kengeri, Bengaluru. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, IIHS is India's premier specialized institution focused on urban studies, urban planning, governance, infrastructure, sustainability, and public policy.
