Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSV), located in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, is India’s first university dedicated exclusively to music, dance, fine arts, and theatre. Established in 1956, it was founded through the generous donation of the royal family of Khairagarh, who gifted their palace to create this unique institution.
