The International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), commonly referred to as IIIT Raipur, was established in 2015 as a joint venture between the Government of Chhattisgarh and NTPC Ltd. It is a UGC-recognized state university approved by AICTE, specializing in information technology and allied engineering disciplines. The institute offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, along with M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. Admissions to B.Tech are conducted through JEE Main ranks via JoSAA/CSAB counseling, while M.Tech admissions require valid GATE scores. Ph.D. admissions involve a written test and interview. Fees are affordable compared to other national institutes, with B.Tech programs costing around ₹1.5–2 lakhs per year and M.Tech programs around ₹1–1.2 lakhs per year.
