About
Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), located at the Science & Technology Campus, Sirkha Toll, Namkum in Ranchi, is a state government university established in 2016 under the Jharkhand University of Technology Act. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE, the university was created to unify and regulate technical education across Jharkhand. It affiliates numerous engineering, polytechnic, and technical institutions in the state, ensuring standardized curricula, quality assurance, and industry-oriented training.

Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi, was set up in 2015 under the Department of Higher, Technical Education & Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE. The university affiliates numerous polytechnic, engineering, and management colleges across Jharkhand, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, technology, pharmacy, applied sciences, town planning, and management. Admissions are conducted through JEE Main (for B.Tech), GATE (for M.Tech), CUET UG/PG, CAT/MAT/XAT (for MBA), and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility

Institutional scholarships and merit-based concessions are available for high-performing students in JEE, CUET, GATE, and board exams.
