Kalahandi University, located at Manikya Vihar in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi District, Odisha, is a public state university established in 2019 by the Government of Odisha. It was created by upgrading the historic Government Autonomous College, Bhawanipatna, which had been serving the region since 1960.
