Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), located at Krishnankoil near Srivilliputhur in Tamil Nadu, is a deemed-to-be university established in 1984. Originally known as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, it was granted university status in 2006 and renamed to reflect its broader academic and research mission.
