About Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education
Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), located at Krishnankoil near Srivilliputhur in Tamil Nadu, is a deemed-to-be university established in 1984. Originally known as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, it was granted university status in 2006 and renamed to reflect its broader academic and research mission.
The institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC, while also holding approvals from AICTE, NBA, and other statutory bodies.
