Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), located at Campus 10 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is a unique institution dedicated to empowering indigenous and tribal children through education. Founded in 1993 by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, KISS began as a small residential tribal school and has since grown into the world’s largest educational institution for indigenous students. KISS provides free, fully residential education to over 37,000 students on its main campus, with additional satellite centers reaching thousands more.
