About Kamdhenu University

Founded by the Government of Gujarat, this unique institution is India's first university dedicated exclusively to cow science, cattle development, indigenous breed conservation, and dairy sciences. Though headquartered in Gujarat's capital with administrative offices at Karmayogi Bhavan, the university operates through affiliated colleges, research centers, and Gaushalas (cow shelters) across Gujarat.
