Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (KKSU), Ramtek, Nagpur, was established in 1997 by the Government of Maharashtra as a state university dedicated to the promotion of Sanskrit and Indian knowledge traditions. Recognized by the UGC and accredited with NAAC ‘A+’ grade, KKSU is the only Sanskrit university in Maharashtra, named after the legendary poet Kalidas. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Sanskrit, Indian Religion & Philosophy, Ancient Indian Sciences & Humanities, Education, and other allied fields.
