K.L.E. Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), established in 1989 and granted deemed-to-be university status in 2006, is a private deemed university founded by the Karnataka Lingayat Education (K.L.E.) Society, located at JNMC Campus, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi, Karnataka. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the UGC Act and accredited by NAAC with an 'A' Grade, KAHER is approved by professional councils including Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Indian Nursing Council (INC), AICTE, and others.
