Maharaja Surajmal Brij University (MSBU), Bharatpur, established in 2012, is a state government university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Named after Maharaja Surajmal, the legendary ruler of Bharatpur, the university was founded to provide quality higher education to students in the Brij region of Rajasthan.
MSBU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law, and Social Sciences. Maharaja Surajmal Brij University (MSBU), Bharatpur, was established in 2012 by the Government of Rajasthan and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It affiliates numerous colleges across Bharatpur, Dholpur, and nearby districts. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law, and Social Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, state-level entrance exams, and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs.
