Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru, was established in 2017 by the Government of Karnataka. The university was formed by clustering several historic institutions, including Maharani’s Science College for Women, Maharani’s Arts College for Women, and Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women, to provide integrated higher education opportunities.

MCU provides financial support through government scholarships (SC/ST/OBC, minority, EWS) and institutional merit-based concessions. Fee waivers are extended to economically weaker sections, while merit scholarships are awarded to top-performing students in CUET, Karnataka CET, and board exams.
