Maharashtra State Skills University (MSSU), Mumbai, also known as Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University (RT-MSSU), was established in 2021 under Maharashtra Act No. VII of 2021 by the Government of Maharashtra. It is a pioneering public/state university recognized by the UGC and aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). Headquartered at Elphinstone Technical High School, Mahapalika Marg, Metro Chowk, Mumbai, MSSU is Maharashtra’s first dedicated skills university, created to bridge the gap between education and employability.
