Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKV), Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) is one of the oldest and most respected public universities in India. Established in 1921 by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and Bhagwan Das during the Indian independence movement, it was named after Mahatma Gandhi to embody the values of truth, non-violence, and self-reliance.
