Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV), Wardha, also known as the Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, was established in 1997 as a Central University through an Act of Parliament. Located at Gandhi Hills, Wardha, Maharashtra, the university was founded with the vision of promoting Hindi as not only India’s national language but also as a global language. It is recognized by the UGC and functions as a fully residential university dedicated to Hindi education and research.
MGAHV offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in fields such as Hindi Language & Literature, Translation Studies, Journalism & Mass Communication, Education, and Social Sciences. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms, a central library, hostels, cultural centers, and sports facilities, fostering holistic student development.
