Mahaveer University, Meerut, was established in 2002 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by various statutory bodies such as AICTE, NCTE, PCI, and BCI depending on the program. It is a private university offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Education, Commerce, Science, Arts, and Allied Health Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main (for B.Tech), NEET (for medical and allied sciences), CAT/MAT/CMAT (for MBA), CLAT/LSAT (for Law), and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs.
