Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) is a private multidisciplinary university established in 2021 under the U.P. Private Universities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021. Founded by Yogi Adityanath, it is the first private university in Gorakhpur and the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. The institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and operates under the Chancellor, Yogi Adityanath, with Dr. Surinder Singh serving as Vice-Chancellor. Located at Arogya Dham, Balapur Road, Sonbarsa, Gorakhpur, the university is envisioned as a hub of health, education, and service.
