Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

MCNUJC was founded in 1990 and named after Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi, a renowned poet and freedom fighter. It is affiliated with the UGC and accredited by NAAC. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Journalism, Mass Communication, Advertising, Public Relations, Electronic Media, New Media, Cinema Studies, and Computer Applications. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG (NTA) for most programs, while PhD admissions are based on university-level entrance exams and interviews. Eligibility requires 10+2 for UG programs and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs. Fee highlights show that UG programs cost between ₹20,000–₹40,000 per year, while PG programs range between ₹30,000–₹60,000 per year, making MCNUJC an affordable option for media studies.
