Malla Reddy University (MRU), located at Maisammaguda, Dhulapally (Post via Kompally), Medchal–Malkajgiri District, Telangana, was established in 2020 under the Telangana State Private Universities Act. It is a private university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by statutory bodies such as AICTE. Sponsored by the Malla Reddy Educational Society (MRES), the institution is part of the larger Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, which has a strong legacy in education and healthcare.

Malla Reddy University (MRU), Hyderabad, was established in 2020 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with approvals from AICTE, PCI, and other statutory bodies depending on the program. It is a private multidisciplinary university offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Law, and Liberal Arts. Admissions are conducted through JEE Main, TS EAMCET, NEET (for medical and allied sciences), CLAT (for Law), CAT/MAT/CMAT (for MBA), CUET UG/PG, and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs.
