About Mangalore University
Mangalore University, located at Mangalagangotri, Konaje, Mangalore, was established in 1980 by the Government of Karnataka. Spread across 353 acres, it is a public state university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’. The university serves the higher education needs of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kodagu districts, with over 200 affiliated colleges.
It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Education, and Computer Applications. The campus is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, a central library, hostels, and sports facilities.
