About Medhavi Skills University
Medhavi Skills University (MSU), Sikkim, located at Singtam Campus in Topakhani, Lower Chisopani near Singtam Bazar in East Sikkim, is India’s first Skill University established under the Sikkim Government Act in 2021. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been set up with the vision of integrating higher education with skill-based, industry-driven learning. The university operates on a unique model where students earn degrees while simultaneously gaining hands-on training and professional certifications, making them directly employable.
MSU offers a wide range of programs including BBA, BCA, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Sc., M.Sc., and vocational diplomas, all designed with strong industry partnerships. Its curriculum is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and emphasizes apprenticeship-based learning, where students spend significant time working with industry partners while pursuing their academic studies.
