University of Mumbai (Mumbai University), formerly known as the University of Bombay, was established in 1857, making it one of India’s oldest universities. Located at M.G. Road, Fort, Mumbai – 400032, it is a public/state university recognized by the UGC and accredited with NAAC A++ grade. The Chancellor is the Governor of Maharashtra, and the Vice-Chancellor is Dr. Ravindra D. Kulkarni.
