The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, was established in 1987 by the Government of Karnataka in collaboration with the Bar Council of India. Located at Nagarbhavi, it is a public state university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). NLSIU is India’s first National Law University and is consistently ranked as the country’s premier institution for legal education.
