Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA), Guwahati was established in 2009 by the Government of Assam and is recognized by the UGC and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is one of India’s newer National Law Universities, steadily building its reputation in the legal education space. The university offers five‑year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), one‑year LL.M., and Ph.D. programs. Admissions to the flagship B.A. LL.B. program are conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), while LL.M. admissions are based on CLAT‑PG. Eligibility requires 10+2 with at least 45% marks for UG programs, a law degree for LL.M., and postgraduation with 55% marks for doctoral programs. Fees range between ₹1.5–₹2 lakhs per year, depending on the program.
