National Sanskrit University (previously Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth), located near Balaji Colony in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, is a central university established in 1970. It was upgraded to a Central University in 2020 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
