NIST University was founded in 1996 and is recognized by the UGC and approved by AICTE. It is also accredited by NBA and NAAC (Grade A). The university offers programs such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, BCA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and Ph.D.. Admissions are based on national/state entrance exams including JEE Main, OJEE, GATE, CAT/MAT, and merit in qualifying examinations.
