About Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education
Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), located at Kumaracoil in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, is a deemed-to-be university established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is managed by the Noorul Islam Educational Trust, which has been active in the field of education since the early 1950s.
NICHE offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, and Humanities. The institution is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE, with several programs accredited by NBA and NAAC.
The Kumaracoil campus is spread across 300 acres of scenic landscape near the Western Ghats, providing a peaceful environment for learning and research. It is equipped with modern laboratories, libraries, hostels, sports facilities, and innovation centers, fostering both academic and professional development.
