About Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University
Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University was established on 1st August 2004 and inaugurated by the Governor of Maharashtra. Edufever Named in honour of the legendary queen and social reformer Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, this Government State University is strategically located on the Solapur–Pune National Highway (NH-65), Kegaon, Solapur – 413255, Maharashtra. The university evolved from a Postgraduate Centre of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, which had been serving the region since 1984. The university campus is set to expand to a state government-allocated 500-acre land adjacent to the existing campus.
