Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (RVSKVV), located opposite Mela Ground on Race Course Road in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, is a state agricultural university established in 2008 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Named after Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, the eminent political leader and social reformer, the university was founded with the vision of advancing agricultural education, research, and extension services to strengthen farming practices and rural development in the region. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and plays a pivotal role in agricultural innovation in Madhya Pradesh. Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior, was established in 2008 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh as a state agricultural university and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The university specializes in agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness, and allied sciences, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs. Admissions are conducted through ICAR AIEEA UG/PG, Ph.D. entrance exams, and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture for UG courses and graduation in agriculture or allied disciplines for PG programs. RVSKVV supports students through government scholarships (SC/ST/OBC, minority, EWS) and ICAR merit-based scholarships.
