Rungta International Skills University, Durg, was established in 2013 under the Rungta Group of Institutions and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is India’s first skills-focused international university, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Commerce, Law, Agriculture, and Allied Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main (for engineering), NEET (for medical and allied sciences), CLAT (for law), CAT/MAT/CMAT (for MBA), and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs. Fees are moderate compared to other private universities, with UG programs ranging between ₹80,000–₹1,50,000 per year and PG programs between ₹1,00,000–₹2,00,000 per year.
