RV University (RVU), located at RV Vidyaniketan Post, 8th Mile, Mysuru Road, Bengaluru, was established in 2021 by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). It is a private university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). RV University, Bengaluru, was established in 2021 by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), which also runs the prestigious RV College of Engineering. It is a private multidisciplinary university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Engineering, Design, Law, Business, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Economics. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main (for engineering), NATA (for architecture/design), CLAT (for law), CAT/MAT/CMAT (for MBA), and merit-based selection depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs. Fees are premium compared to public universities, with UG programs ranging between ₹2,00,000–₹3,50,000 per year and PG programs between ₹2,50,000–₹4,00,000 per year, reflecting its global-standard curriculum.
