Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj was established in 1910 as Allahabad Agricultural Institute and later became a deemed-to-be university in 2000, gaining full university status in 2010. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE, ICAR, NCTE, PCI, and BCI, making it one of India’s premier multidisciplinary institutions.
