Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUP), Jodhpur, established in 2012, is a state government university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Founded by the Government of Rajasthan, it is India’s first university dedicated exclusively to higher education and research in the fields of police studies, security, criminal justice, and public safety.
