Sindhu Central University, established in 2020, is a newly founded central government university located at Melongthang, Leh-Ladakh - 194101 (Near Fire & Fury Corps, FRL). Established by an Act of Parliament under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, this institution represents the Central Government's commitment to providing quality higher education in the newly formed Union Territory of Ladakh. Spread across a developing campus in the scenic Himalayan landscape, the university holds approvals from UGC and operates as a fully-funded central university.
