The Sir J.J. School of Art, established in 1857 as the Bombay School of Art & Industry, owes its genesis to the generosity of Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy, the legendary Parsi businessman and philanthropist who donated ?1,00,000 for its endowment.
