Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

SSUHS was founded in 2009 under The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Act, 2007 and is recognized by the UGC. It is a state public university with jurisdiction across Assam and affiliated to 47 medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health colleges. The university offers 90+ programs including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm, B.Sc. Medical Technology, MD/MS, MDS, M.Sc. Nursing, MPT, M.Pharm, DM/M.Ch., and Ph.D.. Admissions are conducted through NEET UG for MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS, NEET PG/MDS for MD/MS/MDS, NEET SS for super-specialty, and the university’s CEE for Nursing, Pharmacy, and Paramedical courses. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB for UG, MBBS/BDS for PG, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable, with MBBS costing around ₹60,000 annually and PG programs ranging between ₹1–2 lakhs annually.
