SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), located at SRM Nagar in Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, is one of India’s leading private universities. Established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College, it later gained the status of a deemed-to-be university in 2002 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
