SunRise University (SRU), Alwar, established in 2011, is a private university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Founded under the Rajasthan State Legislature Act, the university is committed to providing quality higher education across diverse disciplines with a focus on innovation, skill development, and industry readiness.
SRU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Education, Commerce, Arts, and Applied Sciences. Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
SunRise University was founded in 2011 in Alwar, Rajasthan and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also approved by AICTE, PCI, and BCI, ensuring national validity of its degrees. The university offers a wide range of programs including B.Tech, MBA, MCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA, LLB, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Com, MA, and Ph.D.. Admissions are conducted through merit-based selection and national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, CLAT, and GATE, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM for engineering, graduation with 50% marks for PG programs, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable compared to other private universities, with UG programs averaging ₹50,000–₹1.2 lakhs annually and PG programs around ₹80,000–₹1.5 lakhs annually.
