Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU), Tiruchirappalli, was established in 2012 by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is one of India’s premier National Law Universities (NLUs), dedicated to legal education, research, and training. The university offers five-year integrated undergraduate programs such as BA LLB (Hons.) and B.Com LLB (Hons.), along with LLM and Ph.D. programs in law. Admissions are conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for UG and PG programs, while doctoral admissions are based on entrance exams and interviews. Eligibility requires 10+2 with minimum 45% marks for UG programs and a bachelor’s degree in law for LLM programs. Scholarships & Fee Concessions

TNNLU supports students through government scholarships for SC/ST/OBC, minority, and EWS categories, along with institutional merit-based concessions. Fee waivers are extended to economically weaker sections, while merit scholarships are awarded to top-performing students in CLAT and board exams.
