The Assam Royal Global University (RGU), located at Betkuchi, opposite Tirupati Balaji Temple in Guwahati, Assam, is a leading private university established in 2017 under the Assam Royal Global University Act, 2013. The Assam Royal Global University (RGU), Guwahati, was established in 2013 under the Assam Royal Global University Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is one of the fastest-growing private universities in Northeast India, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Architecture, Design, Fine Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, and Applied Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main, NATA, CLAT, CAT, MAT, and merit-based selection, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG programs and graduation in related fields for PG programs. The admission process includes online applications, counseling rounds, and interviews for doctoral programs. Fees are structured competitively, with UG programs ranging between ₹80,000–₹1,50,000 per year and PG programs between ₹1,00,000–₹2,00,000 per year, while professional programs such as law, architecture, and engineering may cost higher.
