The Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University, located beside BVM College in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand District, Gujarat, is a private university established in 1999 by the Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) educational society. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), approved by AICTE, and accredited by NBA. CVM University was founded to provide multidisciplinary education and has grown into one of Gujarat’s prominent institutions, with a strong emphasis on engineering, management, and applied sciences.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across diverse fields such as Engineering, Management, Commerce, Science, Arts, and Medical Sciences. Its flagship program is B.Tech, with admissions conducted through merit and entrance exams like JEE Main and GUJCET. Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), Anand, was established in 1945 as a non-profit educational trust and has grown into one of Gujarat’s most respected academic institutions. It is affiliated with Sardar Patel University and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). CVM oversees a wide network of colleges and institutes offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Commerce, Arts, Science, Education, and Medical Sciences. Admissions are conducted through state-level and national entrance exams like GUJCET, JEE Main, NEET, CAT, and merit-based selection, depending on the program.
