The ICFAI University Tripura, located at Agartala–Simna Road, PO Kamalghat, West Tripura, was established in 2004 under the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura Act, 2004, passed by the State Legislature of Tripura. It is a private university recognized by the UGC and approved by various statutory bodies, offering multidisciplinary education across engineering, management, law, commerce, science, and humanities.
The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs including B.Tech, MBA, BBA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, LL.B, LL.M, M.Tech, and Ph.D. Its campus is equipped with modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, a central library, hostels, sports facilities, and innovation centers, ensuring a holistic learning environment.

Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
The ICFAI University, Agartala, was established in 2004 under the Tripura State Legislature Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a private university offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Commerce, Law, Education, and Allied Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, MAT, and merit-based selection, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG programs and graduation in related fields for PG programs. The admission process includes online applications, counseling rounds, and interviews for doctoral programs. Fees are structured competitively, with UG programs ranging between ₹60,000–₹1,20,000 per year and PG programs between ₹80,000–₹1,80,000 per year, while professional programs such as law and engineering may cost higher.
