The ICFAI University, Ranchi, was established in 2008 under the Jharkhand State Legislature Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is part of the ICFAI Group of universities across India, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, and Allied Sciences. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, MAT, and merit-based selection, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 for UG programs and graduation in relevant fields for PG programs. Fees are structured competitively, with UG programs ranging between ₹60,000–₹1,20,000 per year and PG programs between ₹80,000–₹1,80,000 per year, while professional programs such as law and MBA may cost higher.
