The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), established in 1999 under the WBNUJS Act, is a premier National Law University located at Aranya Bhavan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata. Founded by noted jurist Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon, it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), permanently affiliated with the Bar Council of India (BCI), and accredited by NAAC.
