About Trident University of Applied Sciences
Trident University of Applied Sciences (TUAS), Sikkim, located at Dentam Bazar on Stadium Road in Dentam Valley, District Gyalshing (West Sikkim), is a newly established private university created under the Trident University of Applied Sciences Sikkim Act, 2025 (Act No. 3 of 2025). It is officially recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
TUAS was envisioned as a modern institution dedicated to applied sciences, skill-based education, and industry-aligned learning. Its mission is to prepare a generation of professionals who can contribute to national initiatives such as Skill India, Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
