Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (formerly Uttarakhand Technical University), Dehradun is a state government university established on 27 January 2005 under the Uttarakhand Technical University Act, 2005. It is the only affiliating technical university in Uttarakhand, recognized by the UGC and approved by the AICTE. The Governor of Uttarakhand serves as Chancellor, with Prof. Onkar Singh as Vice-Chancellor. The university affiliates 118 colleges and 4 constituent institutions, serving nearly 50,000 students across disciplines such as engineering, pharmacy, management, computer applications, and applied sciences.
