Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh) is a prominent state public university established on 2 October 1987, originally known as Purvanchal University. It was renamed in honor of the late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Located on Shahganj Road, Jaunpur, the institution is recognized by the UGC and accredited by NAAC. It is also certified under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2018 standards, reflecting its commitment to quality and sustainability.
VBSPU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Education, Science, and Humanities.
