Vidhyadeep University, located at Anita (Kim) in Olpad Taluka of Surat District, Gujarat, is a private university established in 2004 and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It has grown into a multidisciplinary institution offering diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across diverse fields such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Management, Commerce, and Computer Applications. The university emphasizes industry-ready, project-led learning and has signed over 1,250 MoUs with industries and institutions to strengthen practical training and placements.
The Surat campus is equipped with modern laboratories, collaborative classrooms, libraries, hostels, and vibrant student spaces. The Vidhyadeep University, Surat, was established in 2019 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Commerce, Management, Law, and Education. Admissions are conducted through GUJCET, NEET, JEE Main, CLAT, and university-level entrance exams, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with science subjects for technical and medical UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fees are moderate compared to other private universities, with engineering programs costing around ₹80,000–₹1,20,000 per year, while medical and pharmacy programs range between ₹1.5–2.5 lakh per year.
