ABES Engineering College (ABESEC) is a private engineering college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, established in 2000 under the Society for Educational Excellence. Affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and approved by AICTE, it became an autonomous college in 2025 and is NAAC-accredited, with several programs holding NBA accreditation. Admission to ABES Engineering College for the 2026-27 session is offered through two routes: counselling (85% of seats) based on JEE Main and AKTU/UPTAC eligibility, and direct admission (15% of seats) based on the college's own policy under AICTE/AKTU guidelines.

Admission Process (Counselling)

1. Register and participate in AKTU/UPTAC counselling at www.aktu.ac.in.
2. Receive a seat allotment letter after counselling.
3. Report to the college on the dates in the allotment letter with the required fees and documents.
4. Complete verification and pay the applicable academic (and hostel, if opted) fees.

Direct Admission

Candidates can apply online through the ABES website. The institute shortlists applicants on the basis of their qualifying-exam aggregate and JEE score/rank, followed by an interview, after which a seat is offered.

Eligibility at a glance

• B.Tech (4 years): 10+2 with Physics/Maths and allied subjects, minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).
• B.Tech Lateral Entry (3 years): 3-year/2-year Diploma in Engineering with 45% (40% for SC/ST), or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics at 10+2.
• BCA (3 years): 10+2 in any stream.
• MCA (2 years): BCA / B.Sc.(CS/IT) / B.E./B.Tech (CSE/IT), or any graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST).
• M.Tech (2 years): Bachelor's degree with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories).

Hostels

The college has 6 boys' and 2 girls' hostels offering AC and non-AC rooms in single, double, triple and four-sharing configurations. Each hostel includes a gym, laundry, mess and canteen, plus sports facilities such as basketball, badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis.

Library

The central library is a 1,384 sq.m resource centre with a 400 sq.m reading area and seating for 250. It holds over 112,000 books, 8,074 e-books and 1,224 e-journals, is fully automated on the KOHA system (since 2006), and offers remote e-resource access for self-learning and research.

Sports & Recreation

Facilities include a swimming pool, a floodlit cricket stadium, and courts for badminton, lawn tennis, basketball, table tennis, soccer and volleyball, along with chess, athletics, javelin, shot put and snooker.

Other Amenities

Air-conditioned classrooms and faculty rooms, an auditorium and open-air theatre, five seminar halls, seven canteens and messes (equipped to serve around 2,000 students), a medical room with ambulance and on-campus doctor, a temple, guest house and faculty residences. • PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme — students can access education-loan support under the Central Government's PM-Vidyalaxmi scheme.
• PG (M.Tech) financial assistance — GATE-qualified candidates with a valid score are eligible for the AICTE/MHRD PG scholarship. Non-GATE candidates admitted through direct mode receive a college stipend of 7,000 in the first year and 8,000 in the second year, based on college-level selection.
• Research support — financial support is provided to publish original research work in reputed journals and international conference proceedings.
